The first half of the initiatory path

This grade system describes a step-by-step initiatory process in which each grade builds directly upon the previous one. Development does not occur by abandoning earlier content, but by deepening it, internalizing it, and transforming how the initiate perceives and processes reality.

The first half of the system is a combination of theory and practical foundational work. The second half, which follows after Grade V, becomes more technological, operational, and methodical in its orientation.

GRADE I – SATURN

Grade I is both theoretical and practical. Here, the initiate establishes a foundational understanding of the central philosophical and magical concepts within the system.

The work is carried out through a simple but active engagement with the two main currents, Church of Satan and Temple of Set. This involves not only the study of ideas, but also very basic practical work in which the initiate begins to translate concepts into simple magical and symbolic acts in order to bring theory into lived experience.

The aim is not advanced practice, but the creation of a direct experiential link between idea and perception.

The Necronomicon is treated in this phase as a mythological and symbolic framework, while also being approached as a practical tool.

Saturn functions as a structural principle, focusing on stability, discipline, and conceptual order. All initiation takes place through the ingestion of a grade-specific alchemical elixir, prepared and consumed by the initiate themselves.

GRADE II – JUPITER

Grade II builds upon Saturn and concerns the expansion of understanding and interpretative frameworks.

Here, chaos-gnosticism is introduced as a way of understanding reality as fragmented yet still meaning-bearing. Alchemy continues as a central reference framework, with particular emphasis on transformation rather than structure.

Paracelsus and the idea of the elixir of life are included as theoretical background, primarily used to support the understanding of processes of change.

Jupiter represents expansion, overview, and the synthesis of previously separate ideas into a broader perspective.

GRADE III – MARS

Grade III marks a clear intensification and confrontation.

The initiate works with qliphothic structures, understood in this context as the shadow-side of the sefirot in Jewish mysticism. This functions as a mirror structure in which established order is inverted and problematized.

Goetic concepts are introduced on both a theoretical and practical level as symbolism, psychology, and historical tradition.

The sinister tradition is treated as a broader conceptual complex in which transgressive philosophy and symbolism are central. The Order of Nine Angles is mentioned in this context as an example of a modern, highly fragmented esoteric current.

Mars represents conflict, friction, and an initial destabilization of previously established interpretative patterns.

GRADE IV – SUN

Grade IV functions as a central point in the system and marks its midpoint.

Here, the Schwarze Sonne (Black Sun) mythology is introduced as a central symbolic structure connected to the Qliphoth and inverted cosmology. It forms a focal point in the inner development, where earlier structures are gathered and reflected.

Yezidi tradition is included in an overview form as part of the study of cosmological and religious systems.

Vampirism is treated as a symbolic and psychological motif connected to energy, identity, and perception.

C. G. Jung and Friedrich Nietzsche are used as stabilizing philosophical and psychological reference points to ensure grounding during intensified symbolic development.

Concepts such as infernal geometry and the symbolism of the trapezoid are used to describe structures within perception and internal representation.

Grade IV marks a shift in which the initiate no longer only studies these systems but begins to integrate them as a coherent internal field.

GRADE V – VENUS

Grade V marks a clear transition into a new phase.

Here, the Venus principle is central and is associated with feminine intuition, seiðr, witchcraft, and Luciferian symbolism. The focus is on perception, feeling, and direct intuitive knowledge rather than analytical structure.

In this phase, the initiate is regarded as enlightened in the sense of carrying their own inner light. This does not imply completion, but rather an independent orientation without reliance on external authorities as a primary source of understanding.

This is the first stage in which the initiate fully steps into the role of an autonomous actor within the system rather than a receiver.

Transition

After Grade V, the system transitions into its second half. This section shifts focus from philosophical and symbolic processing toward more practical, technological, and methodological application.

The five initial grades form a clear progression:

Grade I establishes the foundation and a practical-theoretical starting point
Grade II expands understanding
Grade III introduces conflict and inversion
Grade IV centralizes the system around the Black Sun
Grade V establishes independent perception and intuitive orientation

Together, these stages create a gradual densification of the initiate’s internal structure, where external knowledge is progressively transformed into internal function.

THE SATANIC ORDERS – GRADSYSTEM I (GRAD I–V av sammanlagt åtta grader)

Första halvan av den initiatiska vägen

Detta gradsystem beskriver en stegvis initiationsprocess där varje grad bygger direkt på den föregående. Utvecklingen sker inte genom att tidigare innehåll lämnas, utan genom att det fördjupas, internaliseras och förändrar hur initianden uppfattar och bearbetar verkligheten.

Systemets första halva är en kombination av teori och praktiskt grundarbete. Den andra halvan, som följer efter Grad V, blir mer teknologisk, operativ och metodisk i sin inriktning.

GRAD I – SATURNUS

Grad I är både teoretisk och praktisk. Initianden etablerar här en grundläggande förståelse för de centrala filosofiska och magiska koncepten inom systemet.

Arbetet sker genom en enkel men aktiv relation till de två huvudsakliga riktningarna Church of Satan och Temple of Set. Detta innebär inte bara studium av idéer, utan även ett mycket grundläggande praktiskt arbete där initianden börjar omsätta koncepten i enkel magisk och symbolisk handling för att levandegöra teorin.

Syftet är inte avancerad praktik, utan att skapa en direkt erfaren koppling mellan idé och upplevelse.

Necronomicon behandlas i denna fas som ett mytologiskt och symboliskt ramverk samtidigt som det erfara som ett praktiskt verktyg.

Saturnus fungerar som strukturprincip, där fokus ligger på att bygga stabilitet, disciplin och begreppslig ordning. All initiation sker genom intagande av det gradspecifika alkemiska elixir initianden intar efter egen tillverkan.

GRAD II – JUPITER

Grad II bygger vidare på Saturnus och handlar om expansion av förståelse och tolkningsramar.

Här introduceras kaosgnosticism som ett sätt att förstå verkligheten som fragmenterad men meningsbärande. Alkemi fortsätter som en central referensram, med särskilt fokus på transformation snarare än struktur.

Paracelsus och idén om livets elixir ingår som teoretisk bakgrund, men används främst för att stödja förståelsen av förändringsprocesser.

Jupiter representerar expansion, översikt och sammanfogning av tidigare separata idéer till ett bredare perspektiv.

GRAD III – MARS

Grad III markerar en tydligare intensifiering och konfrontation.

Initianden arbetar här med kliffotiska strukturer, som i denna kontext förstås som den judiska mystikens skuggsida av sefirot. Detta fungerar som en spegelstruktur där tidigare ordning vänds och problematiseras.

Goetiska begrepp introduceras på ett teoretiskt och praktiskt plan som symbolik, psykologi och historisk tradition.

Här introduceras Schwarze Sonne, svarta solens mytologi, som en central symbolisk struktur kopplad till kliffot och inverterad kosmologi. Detta utgör ett nav i den inre utvecklingen där tidigare strukturer samlas och speglas.

Initianden betraktas i denna fas som upplyst i betydelsen att bära sitt eget ljus. Detta innebär inte fulländning, utan självständig orientering utan beroende av externa auktoriteter som primär källa till förståelse.

Detta är första steget där initianden fullt går in i rollen som självständig aktör i systemet snarare än mottagare.

Övergång

Efter Grad V sker övergången till systemets andra halva. Denna del förflyttar fokus från filosofisk och symbolisk bearbetning till mer praktisk, teknologisk och metodisk tillämpning.

De fem första graderna bildar en tydlig progression:

Grad I etablerar grund och praktisk-teoretisk startpunkt
Grad II expanderar förståelsen
Grad III introducerar konflikt och inversion
Grad IV samlar och centrerar systemet kring svarta solen
Grad V etablerar självständig perception och intuitiv orientering

Tillsammans skapar dessa steg en gradvis förtätning av initiandens inre struktur, där yttre kunskap successivt blir inre funktion.
